What is Dashless?
Dashless is a free, open-source project for WordPress and Astro websites on Spacefast. Its downloadable Codex plugin includes writing and design skills, an Astro starter, and publication-plan tools. Its hosted ChatGPT version is coming soon and is currently in review. Dashless is an independent project.
How does it work?
Ask for a post, an edit, or a design change in Codex. Review a preview of the changes, then approve publishing on Spacefast. WordPress holds your posts, pages, and media; Astro supplies the website frontend; Spacefast hosts the result.
What do I need?
You need your own Codex access and a separate Spacefast account. Dashless does not require a separate Dashless account or a custom WordPress plugin.
What does it cost?
Dashless is free. ChatGPT, Codex, and Spacefast are separate services with their own terms and any applicable charges.
How do I install it?
Download the plugin ZIP and unzip it. Open the folder in Codex and ask it to install the local Dashless plugin. Connect Spacefast, start a new task, and ask it to set up your WordPress and Astro site. The hosted ChatGPT version is coming soon.
Can I modify it?
Dashless is distributed under the MIT license included in the download. You can use, modify, and redistribute it under that license. It is provided as is, without warranty.
